In July 2019, the AdMaS Center’s MBM Group employees conducted a local survey to assess the quality and degree of concrete degradation of the Kunovský les dam. An in situ inspection of the hydraulic structure was carried out and during this inspection, concrete samples (core drilling) were also taken, as well as the depth of carbonation including acoustic tracing. In accordance with the customer’s requirements, test specimens were prepared from the core boreholes to determine the physical-mechanical parameters, as well as samples for the analysis of chemical and phase composition with respect to the determination of the quality and degree of concrete degradation.
